Waiting on Boog to finish!!

This weekend we went to Dallas to watch Boog run in the Dallas Rock-n-Roll half marathon.  She did great for her first half marathon and for not training!!  Emma Kate was excited to wear Boog's medal!  Boog was worn out and ready to go home!!

John thinks you have to have a fire when you have a picnic.

Emma Kate has been wanting to go on a picnic, so tonight we went to Lake Creek and had a picnic/campfire.  We made sandwiches and took chips and drinks, then we had to make sure we brought our marshmallows to toast them over the fire.  Granddaddy and Grandma stopped by and saw us while we were roasting marshmallows.

VALENTINE'S DAY

We started off this morning with a special Valentine's Day breakfast, then Emma Kate had her Valentine's Day party at school.  She received lots of treats from all of her loved ones.  Emma Kate even made special treats for the ones she loves.

Paw-Paw's special Valentine!

 Paw-Paw gave Emma Kate the Lady & the Tramp movie.  She can't wait to watch it!!

I'm a Fairy

Katie booked appointments for Emma Kate and William to have Valentine's Day pictures made.  I was hesitant about the pictures because Emma Kate does not perform when it comes to picture taking.  She proved me wrong this time!! We used Gordon Photography and they did an amazing job!!  Emma Kate loved the fact that she got to dress up and then pose!!  Here is a sneak peek.

Beauty and the Beast

Emily took Emma Kate to see Beauty and the Beast!  She also got to have her first coke!!  They had a wonderful date together!!!
