Puddle Jumper

This afternoon, we had a nice rain shower.  Emma Kate instantly wanted to get outside and play in the rain.  She ran and ran while it rained!  Yes, she is in her pajamas and it is 5:00, but it was just one of those days!!

FEEDING MY BABY

Since I'm breastfeeding Luke, Emma Kate is breastfeeding her baby with her booties(that's what she calls them)!!  Today, I think she fed all of her babies and then would shake them from side to side to get them to sleep!! Hopefully, that's not what it looks like when I'm walking and rocking Luke.

Emma Kate, I know you are going to be the best Mommy one day, because you are the best big sister and love taking care of your brother.  You have such a sweet, loving, caring spirit.

Gone Fishing

While Luke was napping this morning Emma Kate went fishing in the bath tub for letters.  She found all the letters in her name and then some.  She was able to tell me what the letter was and the sound that it makes!! She is so smart and is soaking up everything right now!!

After fishing, she decided to dress herself in Mama's granny panties and t-shirt!!  Oh honey, never a dull moment with you!!

4th of July

Tonight, John, Emma Kate, Luke and I went to Justin's house to eat and pop fireworks.  Luke and I had to leave early, but John and Emma Kate had a great time.  We are looking forward to this weekend when we go to the Kisinger Firework Extravaganza!!

She is my favorite little firecracker!!

2 MONTHS

Luke you are 2 months old.  At your check up you weighed 16 lbs. 8 oz. and were 26 1/2 inches long.  You are 90%  in weight and off the charts on your height.  You are sleeping all night and starting to get on a normal nap schedule during the day.  You scream from about 5-10 at night when your colic really sets in and still have major reflux problems.  You are wearing size 9 months clothes and some of these are getting tight!  You also are in a size 2 diaper. 

This month you have started smiling and you love to watch your big sister!!
