2 MONTHS

Luke you are 2 months old.  At your check up you weighed 16 lbs. 8 oz. and were 26 1/2 inches long.  You are 90%  in weight and off the charts on your height.  You are sleeping all night and starting to get on a normal nap schedule during the day.  You scream from about 5-10 at night when your colic really sets in and still have major reflux problems.  You are wearing size 9 months clothes and some of these are getting tight!  You also are in a size 2 diaper. 

This month you have started smiling and you love to watch your big sister!!

NCLEX

On June 21st I went to Lubbock to take my boards to become a registered nurse.  I was one of the lucky few who received all 265 questions, instead of it cutting off at 75.  This was one of the hardest tests I have ever taken.  I got to the point where I was just clicking on an answer.  With lots of prayer, studying, devotion and tears I can now say that I am Sara Pribyla, R.N.!!!

PRAISE THE LORD!!

This tank was built 2+ years ago and has always been empty.  Last year we suffered a severe drought and are still facing one, but GOD blessed us with a rain and now it is almost full.  We have 2 tanks at our house and both of them are full!!  We received almost 4 inches of rain today.  Praise GOD!!

FATHER'S DAY

John Pribyla is blessed to be the Daddy to these two...

Katie, Emily and I are so lucky to have this man as our Daddy.  He is the most selfless, loving, caring, hardworking man you will ever meet.  He is a Godly man and lives by example.  He puts others needs before his own.  Thank you for being my Daddy and being the best one!! I LOVE YOU!!

During my pregnancy with Luke, I craved Anita Studer's frosted cookies.  I held out and Denise had them made for my diaper shower.  Margie and Denise did a great job.  Denise decorated and Margie came up with 3 fun games.  We received lots of diapers for Mr. Luke.  They will definitely be put to great use!!  We are so blessed with a wonderful church family and friends!!

After the shower, we were surprised with seeing the Godkin 5.  We were able to have lunch and visit before they had to get back on the road.  Emma Kate LOVES these boys.  I think I may be a bit partial myself!

After an exciting day, Luke took a nap on Grandmama!!

SHOW & TELL

John is always bringing something home for Emma to see and learn about.  She loves her Daddy's show and tell.  Mama normally does, but I don't always like it when its able to escape from its box!!

The highlight of the whole day, playing on the slides!!

Today we went to Wichita and celebrated Charlie's birthday.  We all went out to eat and then we took the girls to see the dinosaurs.  Granddaddy was excited about seeing the dinosaurs too, at least until we got there.  The girls had a great time, but enjoyed playing on the slides more than the actual dinosaur exhibit!!
